About Us
Who We Are
About Channeled Paths
Channeled Paths is a nonprofit organization founded to offer emotional support to at-risk youth and their families in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). Our mission is to remove barriers to professional mental health counseling, offering individual and group sessions to those facing challenges such as poverty, discrimination, domestic violence, and academic difficulties. We collaborate with families, schools, and community organizations to create lasting, positive change.
What We Do
Guiding Youth Toward Brighter Futures
At Channeled Paths, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and hope. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to providing accessible mental health counseling to at-risk, underserved, and special-needs youth and their families in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) of Georgia. We are dedicated to equipping young adults with critical thinking skills that will allow them to rethink their responses to high-stress triggers. Our team guides them as they forge a path toward a bright future.
Our Mission
Removing Barriers, Restoring Hope
Our Mission
Our mission is to eliminate obstacles to professional mental health care by offering individual and group therapy sessions to youth facing challenges such as poverty, discrimination, domestic violence, abuse, addiction, unstable homes, and academic difficulties. We extend our support to their families and support systems, ensuring a holistic approach to healing.
Our Vision
Empowering the Next Generation
Our Vision
We envision a community where every young person has the tools to heal, build resilience, and channel new paths for their lives. By collaborating with families, schools, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and other community organizations, we strive to create lasting, positive change for youth and their communities.
Our Approach
Focused on Young Adults' Mental Health
Our Approach
Recognizing that conditions like Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) often stem from complex backgrounds, we provide targeted interventions. Our licensed therapists work closely with youth to develop healthier behaviors, fostering respect, self-control, and positive relationships.
Our Impact
Transforming Lives Through Compassionate Care
Our Impact
Our clients are often referred through schools, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and local organizations. By providing consistent, empathetic support, we've witnessed remarkable transformations—youth overcoming behavioral challenges, improving academically, and rebuilding family relationships.
Our Commitment to Your Well-being
Focused on the Mental Health for Children, Adults and Families.
Youth with oppositional defiance disorder (ODD), attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), often come from dysfunctional homes, lack respect for authority, and have anger issues. These disorders are also associated with several other mental health conditions, including substance abuse.
These disorders may become a clinical issue without proper intervention. At Channeled Paths, we help young adults suffering from these conditions develop better and healthier behaviors.
Removing Barriers, Restoring Hope
Our Counseling Sessions
We accept patients in the CSRA and the surrounding counties in GA and SC and offer free individual and group counseling sessions to uninsured families of children aged 18 years old and younger.
We assess the program’s effectiveness by examining our client’s personal and academic improvement based on reports made by their parents.
Empowering the Next Generation
Our Clients
Our licensed therapists meet with youth referred to our program through a number of community groups, partners, and organizations to include the Department of Juvenile Justice, our school systems, local mentoring organizations, and more.
